According to NASA, no human beings have ever had sex in space. On the other hand, other nations have launched men and women into space, so such a claim is suspect. In any case the increasing interest in private space tourism suggests that human beings will soon be engaging in sexual activity in space if they have not already.

A Russian actress and a Russian director arrived at the International Space Station on Tuesday. They are starting a twelve-day mission to make the first commercial movie in orbit. The Russia crew is set to beat a Hollywood project announced last year by Tom Cruise, NASA and SpaceX. Actress Ylia Peresild, 37, and film director Shipenko, 38, took off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
